This is the more representative wine produced by the Fortesi Winery: colour, scent and taste differ from any other product of this kind.
The colour is intense ruby red, with violet shades. Chroming is intact, without any sign of oxidation despite the 18 months ageing in wood.
The nose confirms an agricultural and oenological practice aimed at preserving the intgrity of the fruit: notes of spices and chocolate emerge from the aromas of black currant, black cherry and ripe fruit.
On palate it reveals a great fruit: balanced and full-bodied, it offers raspberry, cherry and a note of red pomegranate.
It pairs well with many dishes: hot and cold salami, pasta and main courses of meat and game.
We recommend to serve it at a temperature of 15–18°C in a wide-bowled glass.
