A rare wine from grapes of Uva Rara: rare because of its color, fragrance and flavour.
Colour is red ruby with mid intensity, tending to a dark violet.
On the nose it offers strong aromas of ripe blackberry, with herbaceous notes of musk and a spicy note of carob.
On palate it shows pleasant tastes of cherry and wild blackberry first and then a fascinating sour black cherry and a coffee note.
It pairs well with special dishes characterised by the singularity of their flavours and it goes well even with dried pastry.
We recommend to serve it at a temperature of 15–18°C in a wide-bowled glass and to open the bottle at least 10 minutes before serving.
